Infrastructure

The ISC degree programme provides different kinds of infrastructures for running computational workloads. The main provided elements are:

Teaching infrastructure

  • Calypso : The students sandbox infrastucture hosted onsite
  • Rumba : The ISC teachers tooling infrastructure hosted onsite
  • Wireguard : The VPN used to access Calypso and Rumba infrastructures

Research infra

  • Chacha : One of the main CPU/GPU server for HPC usage, containing 2 Nvidia H100 GPUs
  • Disco : One of the main CPU/GPU server for HPC usage, containing 2 Nvidia A100 GPUs

Web services on external provider

  • Hannibal : The current main ISC Web server, hosting the ISC Learn Moodle platform
  • Marcellus : The legacy VPS hosting various services

  • Backups : The current backups solutions
